Offering thousands of flights, hotel specials, and destination activities and showcasing incredible travel packages daily, Direct Flights International (DFI) is quickly becoming Australia’s favorite choice for online discount travel.
When Sydney based Direct Flights International Pty Ltd (DFI) approached eBrandz for affiliate program management, their objective was to drive quality traffic and increase number of sales through Affiliate Marketing. Their main objective was to target Australian users only and hence they had signed with the Australian Affiliate Networks like www.clixgalore.com.au as well as www.checkmystats.com.au. When eBrandz team analyzed their affiliate program, they found that lot of affiliates were indulging in parasitic activity (ie replace other affiliates cookie with their own cookie). Their creatives were not appealing. Also affiliates were approved “automatically” which prevented “quality check before approving affiliates.
After reviewing the affiliate program, following issues were put forward and implemented:-
The removal of all affiliates indulging in parasitic activities.
Implement new, well designed creatives for affiliates.
Reverse auto approval of affiliates to manual approval.
One of the affiliate network was not performing. eBrandz team recommended that DFI stop affiliate program with that network.
Using keyword research, the affiliate team pitched to travel related websites to become affiliates of DFI. eBrandz team was successful in recruiting and motivating Affiliates which helped overall affiliate program of DFI.
